I was delighted to welcome four participants from England and Ireland to the 3rd edition of Destination French, for a week of intensive French language practice.
Destination French is a linguistic and cultural immersion program designed to enable students of French to put their knowledge of the language into practice by living authentic experiences of everyday French life and taking part in a wide range of activities. What makes Destination French unique is that there are no intensive academic classes. In this adventure, participants deepen their knowledge solely through practice.
During this week, which ran from May 25 to June 1st, our days were cadenced by sightseeing and cultural visits that enabled participants to discover this beautiful region of France, the Gard, and to develop their vocabulary in various fields.
After days rich in activities, we shared convivial evenings at the gîte, in the company of my parents and the gîte owners. A perfect time for relaxation, conversation, and cultural exchange.
The novelty of this 3rd edition of Destination French was to set aside a few minutes before dinner to discuss the day's linguistic difficulties, ask questions, and receive explanations on certain points.

Destination French is also a gastronomic discovery. From very French breakfasts, to my mom's home-cooked dinners, as well as lunches in semi-gastronomic restaurants, there are experiences as authentic as they are varied to appreciate the richness of French gastronomy.
Thank you to Angela, Margaret, Valérie and Marianne for the good times we have shared together :)
See you soon!
