As far as I remember, I’ve been inhabited by a deep fascination for the diversity of our world. I am passionate about everything related to customs, languages, regional gastronomy, and stunning landscapes. Pushed by these interests, my life quickly acquired an international dimension. Born and raised in a small village in the North of France, I couldn’t wait to see the world. My journey overseas started when I was 22 and still lasts. In these 18 years, I’ve lived and traveled in many different countries like Spain, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, the US, Morocco, India, etc.

       Even if in my first years in College I had already studied languages, it is the huge feeling of satisfaction I experience living in a permanent cultural exchange and multilingual environment that reaffirmed my conviction that linguistics was the perfect field for me to develop my professional activity. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in teaching French as a foreign language in 2010 and my Master’s degree in Translation and subtitling in 2017. 

       In my 14 years of experience teaching French as a foreign language, I developed efficient methods to help my students reach their goals. I created my own teaching material, which I provide for free to all my students. My classes are conversation-oriented as, in my opinion, talking is the best way to progress. I also give great importance to strengthening your knowledge of French grammar, to give you the confidence that you are making sense when you speak.

 

       My personal experience as a language learner showed me how crucial it is, to get effective communication skills, to focus on the authentic language, spoken by the people on the streets. That's why, in my French classes, I work as much as possible with authentic resources, created for French-speaking people. I make sure my students speak French like the native speakers do.

       My observations as a language learner, a language teacher, as well as my passion for culture and travel lead me to create a French immersion program. It is the perfect opportunity for French learners to come to France and practice their skills with French native speakers. Every year, I propose a variety of programs where I welcome 3 to 4 students at a time, giving them a chance to experience French culture and language in a relaxed ambiance and enchanting sceneries. Sharing homemade meals with my family and friends, getting guided visits to interesting local attractions, and working on your French vocabulary through workshops are some of the aspects of Destination French immersion stays.
